  7.     given a set of files to create, and recipes of how to
  8.     create and maintain them.  In any non-trivial program
  9.     there will be prerequisites to performing the actions
  10.     necessary to creating any file, such as include files.
  11.     The cook program provides a mechanism to define these.

  13.     Cook runs on almost any flavor of UNIX.  Self configuring
  14.     using a GNU autoconf generated configure script.  There
  15.     are no modifications required to compile it for Linux.
